Who I Am

Andrea Logan, MS Ed.

Andrea earned a BS in Linguistics with a concentration in child language development in 2002.  She then went on to achieve an MS in Teaching and Learning in 2008.  Currently, she is enrolled at the University of New England, and has completed the course work in Transformational Leadership and is working to complete her dissertation in December of 2020.  Her dissertation and transformational leadership focus is on school health and wellness, particularly how school leaders can maximize their leadership influence through the use of strategic oral language and empathic language.

Andrea has worked as a consultant for the New England League of Middle Schools, completing multiple school assessments and helping schools break through growth and stagnation barriers.  She has also worked as a grants writer consultant for a leading grant writing company in Maine.

Andrea is passionate about school leadership, teaching, and learning.  She enjoys sharing her ideas with the professional community through speaking and workshop facilitation and speaks annually at the Maine state conference for Middle-Level Educators (MAMLE), and regionally at the NELMS conference in Providence, RI.
